Approach
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a powerful intervention that uses eye position and somatic awareness to access and transform trauma in the nervous system. This intervention uses focused mindfulness and deep attunement to process emotional distress, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
Brainspotting is an integrative modality which can be used in collaboration with somatic experiencing, internal family systems and other interventions to deepen the experience of healing.
If you are interested in brainspotting intensives, or receiving brainspotting as an adjunct treatment to your current therapy work, reach out and let’s talk!

Somatic Experiencing
Living comfortably in our bodies can dramatically change the way we relate to our friends, family, pleasure, work and most importantly ourselves. Traumatic events and chronic stress can disrupt the nervous system’s natural state of flow, leading to a range of post-traumatic symptoms. Somatic Experiencing (SE) taps into the body’s natural wisdom and desire to regulate and heal, supporting the nervous system in processing overwhelming events and the release of thwarted survival energy (fight, flight, freeze, fawn).
Bessel van Der Kolk writes that trauma is not just an event that took place sometime in the past; it is also the imprint left by that experience on mind, brain, and body. SE utilizes a body first approach to restore the nervous system to a state of balance. As a result, clients experience a reduction in trauma symptoms, improved connection to self, relief from pain and fatigue and deeper satisfaction in their relationships.

Trauma Sensitive Yoga
The practice of trauma sensitive yoga serves to support and restore a loving connection between the body and mind. Sessions gently guide students to tap into their bodies, restoring a sense of safety, trust and personal power.
Mindful movements, gentle breath awareness, and curiosity collaborate to strengthen our awareness of what is happening within the body - right here, right now. As a result, we may find a deeper capacity for tending to our needs with compassion and kindness.
Cameron is passionate about working with folks on their healing journey both individually and in group settings. The practice is designed to be complimentary of individual therapy as a means to deepen the work, or a resource for your team to address burnout and overwhelm.

A beautiful life is not stumbled upon, it is built. It is chosen. It is nurtured over the years. A beautiful life is made from the heart, not the head. It is not one we can rationalize our way into, it’s one that must be felt. A beautiful life is not one that is immediately comfortable, but one grown through the acknowledgement of what is worth being uncomfortable for. It is not one that is easy, it is one that is worth it.
